We continue to explore the United States and look forward to camping in a few new states this year.
While dates and places are listed below, these remain subject to change until we actually arrive.
Travel segments for this year
RCW to Spokane
We have been hoping to visit a couple whom we met during our first stay in Rincon Country West RV Resort (RCW). This year we put together a plan to make it happen.
We have already updated our plan twice! Adding visits to Death Valley National Park and Redwoods National Park and avoiding closures due to cold weather and snow.

Arrival | Campground | Notes |
---|---|---|
Jan 01 | Rincon Country West RV Resort Tucson, AZ | This community active seniors offers many events on site and a bus to local attractions. |
April 3 | White Tank Regional Park Waddell, AZ | This county park offers several hiking opportunities. |
April 6 | River Island SP Parker, AZ | We looked forward to visiting Lake Havasu while here. |
April 9 | Las Vegas RV Park Las Vegas, NV | Our first time camping in Nevada! We placed bets on red twice and won! Red Rock Canyon NRA and Valley of Fire SP each have winning places to hike with million dollar views. Maybe next time we’ll visit a casino. |
Apr 15 | Death Valley RV Resort Beatty, NV | We returned to Death Valley NP and hiked up to Natural Bridge and drove out to Artist Point. |
Apr 18 | Sunrise Valley RV Park Mina, NV | Due to strong winds along our planned route, we stayed an extra day in Beatty and drove through Mina. |
Apr 19 | Sparks Marina RV Park Sparks, NV | We anticipate visiting nearby Reno, NV |
Apr 25 | Mendocino Redwoods RV Resort Willits, CA | Our first time camping in California! The weather indicated snow! Leading us to leave Sparks a day early and reroute. After a slightly higher pass the rest of our trip to Willits will be down hill. |
Apr 27 | Village Camper Inn RV Crescent City, CA | Our rerouting will bring us up historic US 101 through the redwoods. We look forward to visiting Redwoods NP during our stay by the Pacific coast. |
Apr 30 | Armitage Park Eugene, OR | Our first time camping in Oregon! |
May 1 | Ainsworth SP Cascade Locks, OR | The Columbia River offers several dazzling waterfalls. |
May 5 | Franklin County RV Park Pasco, WA | Our first time camping in Washington! |
May 6 | Friends Spokane, WA |

???
Will we spend the entire summer in Indianapolis? Or at least not move the trailer while doing side trips? Or might we visit a few eastern states where we have yet to bring our trailer?
Return to Tucson
We have reservations in Tucson for the 2025-2026 winter. How and when we will get there is currently a mystery to us.
